PM Boris Johnson Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Boris Johnson has tested positive for coronavirus but will continue to lead the government in their response to the crisis.

Boris Johnson has tested positive for coronavirus and will now self-isolate in Downing Street. He was tested on the personal advice of England’s chief medical officer, Professor Chris Witty.

Johnson is showing mild symptoms of the virus and will continue to lead the government’s response to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis via video conference.

The Prime Minister was last seen on Thursday night outside of 10 Downing Street, joining the nationwide gesture of applauding the NHS.

Neither senior advisor Dominic Cummings nor Chancellor Rishi Sunak have shown symptoms or been tested for the virus.
